1. What WASHLY is
WASHLY is an online platform that connects vehicle owners ("customers") with independent mobile car washers ("washers") in Ghana. WASHLY runs the platform, takes payment, and holds it until the job is done. Washers are independent businesses, not employees of WASHLY.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
3. Bookings and prices
The price you see before you pay includes the wash, travel, and any water fee. It is locked once you confirm. Prices can change for future bookings. Promo codes take money off the wash price only, may have limits or expiry dates, and can be withdrawn if misused.
4. Payment
You pay through Paystack by Mobile Money or card. WASHLY holds the payment until the wash is confirmed. Your payment is released to the washer when you confirm the wash is complete, or automatically if you do not respond within the confirmation period shown in the app.
5. Your responsibilities as a customer
Give a correct location and directions, be reachable, and make the vehicle available at the booked time. Tell us honestly whether water and buckets are available at your location. Do not ask washers to do anything unsafe or unlawful.
6. Washers
Washers must give accurate details, be verified by us before taking bookings, arrive on time, and do the service booked. Repeated cancellations or no-shows can lead to suspension. Washers are paid through their wallet and can withdraw to Mobile Money above the minimum amount.
7. Cancellations, refunds and problems
See our Cancellations and refunds page. If something goes wrong with a wash, use "Report a problem" in the app so we can review it before payment is released.
8. Photos and messages
Washers may add before and after photos of your vehicle to a booking. Messages in the in-app chat may be reviewed if there is a dispute. Do not share abusive or unlawful content.
9. Liability
Washers are responsible for the service they provide. WASHLY will help resolve disputes, but we are not liable for damage or loss caused by a washer except where the law says we must be. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ghanaian consumer law.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
